As I've mentioned in my previous post ( Bada's Playlist According to Jūra), Mare is an official paramour of YG Entertainment's Artists. She's been adoring Bigbang especially G-Dragon for years! She even went to their concert in Korea last year. So yeah, most songs in this playlist are dominated by GD's songs. Oh and I remembered that Mare and I love Mew's She Came Home for Christmas, so I included this song to the list :')
Bada... this kind of creature really likes bitchy songs. So, I guess these songs represents him as well. Bada is a huge fan of Hallyu Wave. Just like Mare. Hi, first of all I just wanna let you all know that I'm still alive. Yep, its Bada here. It's April the 1st, 16:10 pm, and it's thundery outside. I've been home these past days. Practically I was home the entire weekend and so is today. Today is Monday anyway, but since the class is canceled, I got to see myself being home for another day. Yaay, or Boo haha. Last weekend was a long weekend because last Friday was a holiday. I supposed to be sad for just being home the entire weekend, but in fact I'm not :).
Let me call this past weekend and today as productive days, sort of. I have been struggling to finish the first chapter of my thesis and I'm successfully finished it today. Yay, thanks to the long weekend. Im so happy that at last I could conquer myself, defeated my lazy procrastinating nature lol. So I managed to finish the first chapter in 14 pages and Im planning to meet my advisor this coming Wednesday to ask for her thoughts, finger crossed. I know its still the beginning of the so called "thesis sojourn" but successfully managed to finish the first chapter gives you more motivation for the next chapters. Hopefully this spirit and motivation last long, another crossed finger.
Last week I did many stuff other than just going to classes. I got my TOEFL Score, I submitted 2 resumes to apply for scholarships, I played scrabble in French and I watched The Wizard of OZ. Nothing really special or super exciting, but hey, ordinary life is something thats gonna be missed someday, when you are there freaking out with piles of work on your desk and a screaming boss on your head, you're gonna beg for these kind of ordinary easy breezy days, arent you!. Lol lets get back to the track. So, my TOEFL score was quite a satisfactory, I got more than what I expected. It was my third attempts of taking the test and Im so happy it turned out good. Well, so many people are good in english these days, so with a good TOEFL at least you are still on the game. One of my professor, Mr. Mohtar told us that being able to speak english well is not something you should proud of thought, cause its a mandatory, sniff sniff. But, Im still happy with my TOEFL result.
Last week I also submitted 2 applications for scholarship. Dont judge me to be a greedy or opportunist type of bitch. Promise you Im not. You know, I am a student without any job and my parents still fully supported me financially, but I need a a lot of money so that I can travel more. You know, Im kinda obsessed with travelling. It would be so nice if you could spend your own money for travelling, without burdening your parents. So, travelling might be the biggest motivation for me to apply for the scholarships. I know that sounds lame. But better than not trying :). You'll never know your luck if you never test them. Fingger crossed again.
Last Thursday I played scrabble in my French class and it was so much fun. That day, there's only 4 of us coming to the class, so our teacher asked whether we want to study, watch movie, or play games. Dont ask, we shouted at her right away, "GAME, Madaaaam!", and we ended up playing scrabble for 2 hours. I called playing scrabble part of learning thought, because I got to learn some new vocabularies. Well another finger cross for my french advancement :). I really want to be good in French. As for right now, I've been enjoying learning the language, and its sort of growing on me already. I used to be pessimistic about learning French, cause you know, in which language does a table has gender?, and in which language do you have to struggle to even read a word. Well, you can only find them in French. Now I started to enjoy it more and more :).
Last week I also watched The Wizard of OZ with Mare. The movie was kinda unpredictable. It's nothing like what I expected from seeing the poster. I dont wanna give you some kind of spoiler but this movie is hilarious ( never crossed in my mind that there's a china town in magical world guys lol ). Before I give you further spoiler, you better watch your own. In the beginning of the movie it was all black and white, and the aspect ratio of the screen wasnt ordinary, the screen was kinda small. But it gets bigger after a while as the main character jumped into the "magic world". I got to see Rahel Weisz also since the last time I saw her on The Mummy Returns. Theres also Mila Kunis which happened to be an ugly witch by the end of the movie. Anyway, overal this movie is entertaining, dont expect more, cause I hate the ending.
For addiction and favorites this week. Hehe. I've been loving to listen to these music. The first one is Monodrama by Huh Gak feat. Yoo Seung Woo. Yoo Seung Woo was a former KPOP star contestant I guess, if Im not mistaken with Super Star K ( correct me if Im wrong ). Their duo is quite good, I like their voices combined. The song is about a person who regrets his past relationship I guess, cause Im not that good in Korean, but I caught several words that expressed so. The song is kinda sad but good to listen before sleep :). Last but not least, it gives me the nostalgic vibe of Korea somehow. Makes me miss Korea.
The next one is pretty peculiar ( sorry for that lol ), title of the song is Expectation by Girls Day. I've never seen girls day sporting this kind of image. In this music video they go with sexy image which is so different with their previous image. They used to be cute and sometimes too cute that they look stupid lol. The music of their new song is quite addicting. I like it cause it has something like clubby beat going on. LOL for the music video concept and dance, hmmm you should check their boob shake moves ( lol I dont even know how to name that moves, go check it out below ). Oh, one more thing that caught my attention about this music video is that one of them ( whom I dont know who she is ) looks like Hyuna somehow. Just FYI Hyuna is my guilty pleasure guys, please mind.
